The Story: Max’s Courage
The peaceful countryside at dusk suddenly turned gray as thick black smoke billowed from the stable. A fierce fire had broken out, engulfing the thatched roof of the poor black horse’s stable. Inside, the horse neighed desperately, but the wooden door was bolted shut, trapping the little creature inside the fiery trap.
Max, the intelligent Golden Retriever wearing his “Police” vest, was the first to notice the incident. Without hesitation, Max dashed forward like an arrow. Using all his might, he leaped onto the door, scratching and trying to pull the bolt with his teeth, but to no avail. The fire on the roof began to collapse, embers falling all around. Realizing he couldn’t open the door himself, Max immediately turned and ran across the fields to find help.

Not far away, Max’s owner was busy gardening. Max rushed forward, barking incessantly and tugging at his coat, his eyes filled with an unusual urgency. Sensing something was wrong, the man dropped his tools and ran after Max.
The scene before them was horrifying: the stable had become a ball of fire.
“Hold on, I’m coming!” the owner shouted.
Guided and encouraged by Max, the man rushed to the edge of the fire, quickly unlocking the door. In an instant, the black horse leaped out, just before the entire roof collapsed.
After the breathtaking escape, they all stopped in a safe grassy area. The black horse was injured in the leg, blood staining a patch of its fur. The man carefully bandaged the wound, while Max quietly approached, nuzzling his horse’s neck as if to comfort it: “It’s alright, I’m here.”

Amidst the ashes of the burning farmhouse behind them, the image of the brave dog standing beside his friend created a beautiful picture of love and loyalty. Max was not just a dog; he was a true hero.
